We are asking all cars to meet in the parking lot of Canterbury Elementary School in Cleveland Heights at 2:45 pm. The parade will leave the school at 3:00 pm for the short drive to our street.
Decorate Your Car
Please have fun with this – decorate your car, make a sign to hang out the window – whatever your creative heart
desires! If the weather is nice, and you have a classic car, take it for a spin. Have fun with it, but don’t feel pressured – your presence alone is more than enough!
Identify Yourself
PLEASE make a sign to put on your car (or
wave out your window or sunroof) with your name so that she can see who you are from a distance. Depending on weather conditions, she may be sitting at the end of our driveway or further away up by our front door.
Safety
With the number of Covid cases rising in our area, please adhere to the advice of our healthcare professionals. While we all have our way of dealing with this, for my grandmother, Lois, it is of great concern – she wants all her freinds and family to remain safe & healthy.
Route from Canterbury School
to our Home
3801 Westwood Rd., University Heights, OH 44118
At 3:00 pm, the cars will leave the Canterbury School parking lot and follow this route to our house. You can follow the lead car, but we encourage you to keep handy the map below, just in case you need it. We’ve tried to map out an easy route that will have you heading in the direction that puts you on our side of our street when you drive by. After you pass our house, you are on your own again! Please consider supporting some of our local business by ordering take out – we have many friends who either own or work for area establishements and we know they would greatly appreciate your business.
Turn-by-turn Directions
> Turn left out of parking lot and head north on Canterbury Rd toward E Scarborough Rd. until you reach Meadowbrook Blvd.
> At Meadowbrook Blvd. turn right and head east (towards Eaton Rd.) until you reach the intersection of Meadowbrook Blvd. and Hillbrook Rd.
> Bear/turn left onto Hillbrook Rd. and head east (towards Edgerton) until you reach the intersection of Hillbrook Rd. & Fenwick Rd.
> Turn left onto Fenwick Rd. and head north (towards Bethany Rd. & Walter Stinson Park) until you reach the intersection of Fenwick Rd. and Silsby Rd.
> Turn left onto Silsby Rd. and head west until you reach the first street on the right (Westwood Rd.)
> Turn right onto Westwood Rd.
> Our house is about half-way down on your right – 3801 Westwood Rd.
